Who am i?

I'm Wole Olufayo, a Data Engineer/Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer

I use Alteryx, SQL and Tableau to uncover insight from data sources all around me, but I am not restricted to these, I also dabble heavily into Python and numerous other data science tools. I wasn't always this way. For 3 years I was an international field service engineer at National Oilwell Varco performing upgrades on oil platforms, commissioning offshore sites, maintaining and customizing automation upgrades on rig equipments. My goal was to analyze the oil and gas industry and comprehend it's the process flow, to bring to light new techniques which could revolutionize the industry and I believe digitization and predictive analytics are a viable solution. So I also used the skills and knowledge I gained as an engineer to dive into data science, developing data science skills out by doing small projects that helped sharpen my abilities.
